What we do

Renovation services

Full Renovations

Luxury home renovations and general contracting, handled as a one-stop shop. One room or the whole house, we take the project from planning through to completion.

One schedule, one budget conversation, one person accountable. You don't have to referee between trades.

Interiors

Basement developments, kitchens, and bathrooms. These are the spaces that get used the most and add the most value when done well.

Because our carpentry is in-house, the finishing details (built-ins, trim, custom millwork) are done by our own people, not subcontracted to whoever's free that week.

Exteriors

Decks in wood or composite, built to handle Calgary winters. Windows and doors that tighten up the envelope and improve the look of the house. Fences that stay straight after a few chinooks.

Exterior work gets tested by the weather every year. Material choice and proper footings matter as much as how things look on day one.

The difference

One stop. One contact. The whole renovation.

Most renovations run into trouble between trades. The plumber waits on the framer. The painter waits on everyone. And you're stuck making the calls.

As the general contractor, we coordinate the whole thing. Calgary Renovation Rangers plans the project, sequences every trade, and stays accountable for the finished result. You make the decisions. We handle the logistics. One number, same person every time.

Our sister company Roof Rangers handles roofing under the same ownership. Between the two brands, most of what your home needs gets covered.

How it works

From idea to walkthrough

  1. STEP 1

    Consultation

We sit down, walk the space, and listen. What you want, what's possible, and what it roughly takes to get there.

  2. STEP 2

    Design & Plan

Scope, materials, and a schedule in writing before work starts. The build follows a plan.

  3. STEP 3

    The Build

One point of contact coordinates the trades and keeps you in the loop.

  4. STEP 4

    Final Walkthrough

We go through the finished space with you, detail by detail, and don't call it done until you do.

Renovation questions, answered

Can you manage the whole project, or do I line up the trades myself?

We manage the whole thing. That's the point of a one-stop shop. We plan the work, schedule and coordinate every trade, and keep one point of contact accountable from start to finish. You make the decisions and we handle the logistics.

Do I need permits for my renovation?

A lot of renovation work in Calgary needs a permit, including structural changes, basement developments, decks above a certain height, and most electrical, plumbing, and gas work. As your general contractor, we pull and coordinate the permits that apply so the work is inspected and done to code. If a project doesn't need one, we'll tell you.

Do you handle both the design and the build?

Yes. We start with a consultation, put the scope, materials, and layout on paper, then build to that plan. Having the same team plan and build keeps the details from getting lost in a handoff.

How long does a renovation take?

It depends on the scope. A bathroom is a different timeline than a basement development or a whole-home renovation, and material lead times and permits factor in. You'll get a realistic schedule in your plan before work starts, and we'll keep you posted if anything shifts.

What does a basement development involve?

Usually framing, electrical, plumbing, insulation, drywall, flooring, and finishing, plus permits and egress windows if you're adding a bedroom. We sort out the layout, the trades, and the inspections so the finished space is comfortable, up to code, and built to hold up through Calgary winters.

Will I know the costs before work starts?

Yes. We put the scope and budget in writing before anyone picks up a tool, so you know what you're paying for. One budget conversation and one schedule, with no surprises mid-project wherever we can help it.

Do you only do interiors, or exterior work too?

Both. Alongside kitchens, bathrooms, and basements, we build decks in wood or composite, install windows and doors, and put up fences. Inside or outside the house, it's one team.
