What we do

Roofing services

Roof Removal & Replacement

Complete tear-off and replacement in the three systems that make sense for Calgary homes: asphalt shingles, rubber roofing (Euroshield), and metal roofing.

The job starts with stripping the old roof to the deck, repairing the sheathing where needed, then building back up through underlayment, flashing, and venting to the finished surface. Calgary's freeze-thaw winters and hail seasons are hard on roofs. Getting the material right and the install done properly is what makes the difference.

Soffit, Fascia & Gutters

The edges of your roofline do more than finish the look. Soffit ventilates the attic, fascia carries the eavestrough and seals the roof edge, and gutters move meltwater away from your foundation.

Peeling paint, sagging eavestrough, pest entry points, or winter ice buildup along the eaves are all signs this system needs attention. We repair and replace all three as part of a roofing project or on their own.

Leak Identification

Water rarely shows up where it gets in. A stain on the ceiling can start at a failed flashing, a cracked vent boot, or wind-lifted shingles several metres away.

We trace the leak to its actual source before recommending anything. Patching the wrong spot just buys time. In Calgary's freeze-thaw climate, small leaks become bigger ones quickly. Find it early and the fix is usually straightforward.

Insurance Claims

Hail and windstorms hit Calgary regularly, and dealing with the insurance claim afterward can be its own headache. We help you navigate it.

We document the damage thoroughly, help you understand what your adjuster needs, and scope the repair or replacement accurately. One person who knows your roof handles it throughout.

Free Inspections

A free inspection makes sense after a hailstorm, before buying or selling, or when the roof just hasn't been checked in a while.

We look at the surface, flashings, vents, soffit, fascia, and gutters, then give you a straight answer on what we found. If nothing needs doing, we'll tell you. If something does, you'll know what and roughly what it costs. No charge either way.

Good to know

Roofing questions, answered

Do I need a repair or a full replacement?

It depends on the age of the roof and how widespread the damage is. A few lifted shingles or one failed flashing can usually be repaired. If the roof is near the end of its service life, or damage covers multiple slopes, replacement is often a better investment than repeated repairs. An inspection gives you a clear picture. We'll show you what we found and walk through the options.

How do insurance claims work after hail?

Most Calgary hail claims work the same way: document the damage, notify your insurer, then an adjuster assesses the roof. The insurer approves a scope of work and you pick a contractor. We can help throughout. We document the damage properly, make sure the scope covers what the roof actually needs, and do the work once the claim is approved.

What's the difference between asphalt shingles, Euroshield rubber, and metal roofing?

Asphalt shingles are the most common and most affordable, with a wide range of styles. Euroshield rubber roofing is made largely from recycled tires and holds up well under hail, which matters in Calgary. Metal roofing costs more upfront but lasts longer and sheds snow well. The right choice depends on your budget, the look you want, and how long you plan to stay in the home. We'll go over the options when we talk.

What is Class 4 impact resistance?

Class 4 is the highest rating in the UL 2218 impact test, where steel balls are dropped on roofing material to simulate hail. Products that pass, including many rubber and some asphalt and metal options, withstand larger impacts without cracking. In Calgary, where hail is common, Class 4 materials can reduce storm claims. Some insurers also offer premium discounts for them. Worth checking with yours.

How long does a roof replacement take?

For a typical Calgary house, the tear-off and reinstall usually takes one to three days once materials are on site, depending on the size and pitch of the roof and the weather. You'll see a realistic timeline in your quote. If weather delays things, you'll hear from us.

What does the free inspection include?

A walk of the roof surface and a check of the components around it: shingles or membrane, flashings, vents and boots, soffit, fascia, and gutters. You get a plain rundown of what we found and what, if anything, we'd recommend. No charge. If the roof is fine, that's what we'll tell you.

How do I prevent ice dams and winter leaks?

Ice dams form when attic heat melts snow on the roof and the meltwater refreezes at the cold eaves. The usual fix involves better attic insulation, proper ventilation through soffit and roof vents, and clear gutters going into winter. Calgary's chinook cycles, with frequent thaw-refreeze patterns, make this more common here than in many cities. Eaves protection is worth addressing when the roof is replaced.
